Assistant Office Manager
Job Description Overview: Seeking an Assistant Office Manager to support day-to-day operations at Palm Beach Endodontics.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Practice Manager in overseeing daily office operations and maintaining office standards.
- Monitor staff performance to ensure completion of assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Professionally address and resolve in-office patient concerns.
- Post insurance and patient payments, handle check processing, and prepare regular bank deposits.
- Support front desk operations including answering phone calls, checking patients in/out, and scheduling appointments.
- Manage schedule adjustments independently for cancellations, emergencies, and provider changes.
- Maintain an organized, efficient work environment and communicate operational concerns to leadership.
- Travel between practice locations in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Boynton Beach as needed.
full-time $28 - $30 per hour
Hourly rates are negotiable depending on experience and can be discussed during the phone interview.
BenefitsPaid time off and sick/personal time available after 6 months. Health insurance (no dental) available after 60 days. Eligible for profit-sharing 401(k) after 1 year.
Shift & Schedule Full-time (4-5 days a week)
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Must be available to stay past closing hours and scheduled past 5:00 PM when needed.
Experience: Dental office experience is required.
Skills: Ability to assist with practice operations, monitor staff performance, resolve patient concerns, post payments, prepare deposits, perform front desk/reception duties, and adjust schedules independently. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high initiative.
Travel: Must be willing and able to travel between practice locations (Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Boynton Beach).
