About the job Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) needs 5+ years of public accounting experience.

Requires:

CPA License, GAAP, Financial Reporting, Auditing, Tax Compliance, Financial Analysis, Advanced Excel

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, with experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.

Proficiency with accounting, tax, and financial reporting software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

5+ years of public accounting experience.

Experience with tax planning and consulting services.

Familiarity with QuickBooks and cloud-based accounting platforms.

Experience supervising or mentoring staff.

Knowledge of small business and closely held company accounting.

Duties:

Tax Services
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for:
Individuals
Partnerships
S Corporations
C Corporations
Trusts and Estates
Nonprofit Organizations
Conduct tax research and analyze complex tax issues.
Develop tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Respond to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence.
Assist clients with tax audits and examinations as needed
