TWO WAYS TO QUALIFY:Have a CDL but no towing experience? - We will train you!
Have professional tow truck experience but no CDL? - We want to talk to you!
Whether you're an experienced tow operator or looking to start a new career with your CDL, we're looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who take pride in helping customers when they need it most.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORValid North Carolina Driver's License
CDL A preferred - towing experience is not required for qualified CDL holders
OR professional tow truck experience without a CDL
Good driving record required
Must pass a background check
Must pass required DOT physical and drug screening
Must pass FMCSA Clearinghouse check
Must live within approximately 20 minutes of Fayetteville, NC 28301
Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours calls
Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
Safely operate tow trucks and transport vehicles
Properly load, secure, and unload vehicles using towing equipment
Provide professional, courteous customer service - even in stressful situations
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Phillip's Towing Service
We'll train the right CDL candidate in towing!
Experience and skills that are a plus include:
Previous towing or roadside service experience
Basic mechanical knowledge or automotive diagnostic experience
Experience handling a variety of vehicles and equipment
Strong communication and time-management skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
